always catching up (5/4 and 5/5)

Sunday

• rehearsal and concert with the amazing Dr. Craig Jessop, formerly of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, new Dean of Music at Utah State
• it's been a crazy crazy weekend w/ lots of rehearsals, lots of singing, lots of work, but most importantly, lots of fun. it's nice to be pushed, to sing with others and think about where i can improve, and where i'm succeeding
• if you're ever in utah, consider hearing a choir performance conducted by Dr. Jessop
• dinner at a diner! cheap food. i'm sure it was awful for me, but it wasn't too awful to eat.
  

Monday

• late. again. see a trend? gotta fix that
• had a convo w/ the dept chair and the student's case manager today. i think we have a plan for next year and i'm glad i'm staying. i am also possibly helping out the department next year administratively, something i am good at and interested in doing.
• applying to grad school in the fall
• decided on kaplan audition topic. need to prep it, make copies, etc.
• brought food to the boy from mandarin wok.
• currently doing laundry. hopefully it'll all get done tonight!
