- got a TB test. still scared of needles :(
- bought some supplies at jo-ann's: handles for the purse i'm crocheting, some other cheap items like q-tips, toothbrush holder, etc. i should look into paper arts: making cards, decorations, but the book was around $15, and i didn't want to pay it
- the boy came home after a couple days in boston
- had a transition meeting for my student at Central. it's nice to be noted for good work. the pay is slightly atrocious, but it's not every job earns you the recognition you deserve
- recorded answers for a practice ACT and did the English, Math and Reading sections
- didn't go to pearson's to go to dance class
- missed the bus TWICE going to dance class
- arrived at dance class basically when it was ending, but they go over into the break so we still got some class in
- walked out on a class for my first time. it's an extracurricular activity, don't insult people. doing something over and over again, if it doesn't help the first couple of times won't help for another couple of times. on my part, had i known i was going to be so irritable, i just shouldn''t have gone
- my phone didn't charge like it said it was ::grumble:: so i had to run home and get it during lunch
- my student at central hs was late by an hour w/o a note, phone call, or anything. my irritation at this was doubled by the fact that if i had had an extra hour in the morning (or even five minutes) i would've noticed the phone and brought the charger
- after some pampering, the phone finally charged
- went in for my TB test reading. i don't have it!
- but the interview that i needed my phone for got rescheduled so the worrying was unnecessary
- didn't want to spend money at the mall, so i went to panera's and parked myself there for two hours completely killing time. i ate a late lunch while flipping through glamour, then i talked on the phone w/ my mom until work
- biking in windy weather = bad news. going over freeways is especially scary, even if there's a high wall on the side to prevent falling over
- got my state tax refund!
- didn't go to the gym. i need to figure out how to make that membership worth it
- was going to go to the craft fair on campus, but it turns out my interviewer was planning on calling me then
- had a phone interview w/ Camp Galileo. i really need to cut the "you know" and "um"s out of my speech. i also should work on having something to say before i say it. that aside, it was a pretty good interview where i got to share a lot of my education ideas and ways to incorporate that into camp.
- had a concert at the douglas county museum in tuscola. note to self: if i'm going to perform, i need to prepare. period.
- made dinner, folded laundry. just doing the basics and getting ready for some sleep!
